Camp Staff

Our Staff

At Camp Weed, we’re committed to finding the greatest, loudest, most enthusiastic, and most qualified staff members we can. We look for our staff members to have leadership experience, a passion for children, and a love for serving others. Most of our staff members are college-aged, along with a few high school students, who give up their summers to invest in the lives of our campers.

We provide all trainings and certifications needed to facilitate our activities, including lifeguard certifications, archery training, and high ropes training. We also hold a 10 day staff training to prepare all staff for leading activities, managing behavior issues, working as a team, and more.

This summer our staff will be made up of Leadership Staff, Program Staff, Cabin Staff, and Support Staff. If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to talk more about what it’s like to work at Camp Weed, reach out to our director Sam Marxsen at sam@campweed.org or at 386-364-5250.
