Scholarships
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to attend camp, and our scholarships help make that possible! Camp Weed and the Diocese of Florida are happy to award more than $10,000 in scholarships every year. These awards are made possible by the Bullock Scholarship Fund, founded in memory of Rev. Stanley Bullock, by the offerings at our Closing Eucharist and other very generous donations. Last summer we were able to award over $14,000 in scholarships.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Summer Camp Director Sam Marxsen at sam@campweed.org or at 386-364-5250.
Our 2024 Scholarship Application is entirely online! Applications are due by April 30, 2024 and decisions will be mailed and emailed out shortly after that deadline. You can access the application by clicking here or by scrolling to the link at the bottom of the page. One application should be submitted for each camper. If you are submitting applications for more than one camper at the same time, once you submit the first one, there will be a link to click that reads "submit another response". You should receive an email confirmation from "Google Forms" once you have submitted the application. Within that email will be a link to allow you to make any changes to the application up until the April 30 deadline.
Providing additional information (tax returns, proof of free or reduced lunch, etc.) is welcome and encouraged. Additional information may be submitted by email to sam@campweed.org or by mail to:
