Come join SmartCasts’ nationally recognized master certified fly fishing instructors, Saturday and Sunday, May 7 & 8, for two days of fly fishing instruction and outdoor fun in Camp Weed’s 500-acre nature retreat, which includes a 100-acre bass lake.

SmartCasts’s Essentials of Fly Fishing is a hands-on, small-group school that encourages self-discovery and accomplishment through fly fishing – all in a pristine, natural environment, just minutes from Live Oak and the I-75/I-10 interchange.

Good casting is essential to good catching. SmartCasts School instructors are exceptionally strong fly casting instructors with special skills for teaching casting techniques for trout, bass and pan fish, and saltwater species. You’ll learn:

This two-day course gives you all the basics. Schools are full-day Saturday and half-day Sunday, to allow for travel. Class size is limited. Cost per student is $395 for the 2-day school. Catered lunches and all materials and equipment are provided.
